What do you consider your most significant career accomplishment to date?
Being asked by David Geffen to fly to New York with him to see his new Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, starring Jennifer Holiday. I declined the offer because I didn’t think I’d like the play. The accomplishment was years later realizing that, despite my ability to think reasonably and analytically about anything, I am perfectly capable of making the absolutely most stupid decisions imaginable.
How do you define success?
The ability to exhale and think, “Yep, this is all good enough just as it is."

What is the first interaction with technology that you remember and what did you think at the time?
I was given a Norelco cassette recorder when I was somewhere near 5 years old. I recall thinking it was magical and that I had to somehow make it my life.
